Saltash Card – Promoting the local economy
Saltash hit the national headlines earlier this year with the news that its town discount card now offers residents a 2p per litre discount at both the BP and Texaco fuel garages on the A38 in Saltash.
The Saltash Card is a Saltash Gateway CIC initiative developed to encourage shoppers to stay local and use the diverse range of independent shops in Fore Street. The Saltash Card is supported by a Grass Roots project grant from Cornwall Community Foundation.
Discount cards, which cost £2 each are available from Guildhall Saltash, Saltash Library or at the Bookshelf, Fore Street, in Saltash.
More than 1,000 people hold cards, with about 25 participating businesses offering discounts of 5% or 10%. Click here for more information about the Saltash Card and the full list of discounts available.
